Concept & Methodology

From Design to Validation

The concept of PAISES-6G is to integrate secure AI/ML into 6G to enhance network efficiency, security and functionality delivering robust, scalable, intelligent solutions with high data privacy and security including quantum-safe encryption and operational efficiency via zero-touch AI deployment across federated networks.

PAISES-6G Methodology

An Iterative Two-cycle Approach to Architecture, Development, Testing, and Validation

First Innovation Cycle
1
Architecture Definition
Sets the project's architectural blueprint, the framework, the open APIs, the placement of network functions (xNFs) and AI models, and the Network Digital Twins (NDTs).
2
Technical Development
The three core technical work packages begin development in parallel, producing preliminary versions of the solutions and software components.
3
Integration and Validation
Integrates and validates those first-cycle components across the three consortium testbeds (5TONIC, Gotham, and the distributed testbed). This first cycle focuses on set-up and "on-site" testing of individual components.
Second Innovation Cycle
1
Fine-tunes the Architecture
Based on collective experience from cycle one.
2
Enhance the Technical Solutions
Resolving integration issues and driving them to meet their KPIs pushing current TRL 2 → TRL 4 for most solutions.
3
Final Integration
Testing and validation, culminating in the final demonstration of the integrated solutions across the testbeds.
